Dear friends,

 

It is with bittersweet sentiment that Irina and I would like to share with you that our time in Brighton has come to an end and we will be closing our retail shop in 2025. Over the course of the past year we've experienced growth in other areas of the business that we would like to devote more of our time and energy to in this upcoming year. This includes our mobile coffee cart as well as custom cakes and dessert bars for your special events. This is not a definite goodbye to retail as we will continue to pursue potential retail projects in the coming months, but if (or shall we say "when") we do return to retail, we would like to open in a bigger and more centralized location so we can better serve our customers. We appreciate all of our regulars, and every single person who has stopped by the shop over the past two years. It has been an exhilarating journey of growth, learning, and pouring our hearts into what we love. We'll be taking some time off for the next few weeks to rest, revise, and come back with a new and exciting product launch so we can continue providing you with the desserts you've loved, such as our best-selling honey cake and macarons. In the meantime, our coffee cart booking form remains available as well as custom cakes for your special events. We are grateful beyond words for everyone who has been and continues to be part of our Solodko family. We wish you a blessed 2025!
